By bus You can hop on a Bus Éireann service from the airport to Carrickmacross, then take a short taxi from there to Cabra Castle. Head north via the M1 and N2 and you’ll be at the gates of the castle before your playlist even hits the second round of singalongs. Train + taxi You can take a train from Dublin Connolly to Dundalk (about 1 hour), then grab a taxi to Cabra Castle (around 30 mins). Best if you don’t fancy driving but want to avoid buses. Bus option There are buses from Busáras to Carrickmacross, with a short taxi ride at the end. It’s doable, just allow about 3 hours total.
